WALKER INFORMATION

 

Thank you for celebrating World Hemophilia Day by participating in “Walking on the Wild Side for Bleeding Disorders”.  The purpose of this event is to fund educational events for people and families that are affected with bleeding disorders.

 

WHAT DO I DO NOW?

 

GET SPONSORS.  Take your sponsor sheet to your family, friends and neighbors etc. Your goal is to raise a minimum of $500 for HBDA, Inc., a non-profit organization. (all donations will be tax deductible based on IRS guidelines)

 

GET REGISTERED. The cost of registration is $10 per person. Each person will need to fill out a registration form. To receive a t-shirt the day of the event each individual will have to raise a minimum of $100 and have the money and pledge sheet turned into the office no later than March 8, 2011. To be eligible to participate in the door prize drawing you will individually have to raise a minimum of $250 and have all money and pledge sheet turned into the office no later than March 8, 2011. Pledges can be turned in the day of event but there is no guarantee for a t-shirt. Make checks payable to HBDA, Inc. Lunch will be served after the event for all participants and volunteers who have turned in their registration.

 

WHEN & WHERE?

 

The walk will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Montgomery Zoo in Montgomery, AL. Registration will take place at the front gate at 8:00 a. m.
