RICK DINKINS

Brigadier Rick Dinkins, USAF (Retired) is an independent consultant focusing on information technology, leadership and organizational areas of interest for individuals and private sector corporations. After a 38+ year Air Force career, he and his wife, Debby, relocated to the central Alabama area in 2010.


After retirement, General Dinkins joined Black Box Network Services-Federal Division of Herndon Virginia. As a Divisional Vice President, he oversaw the company’s engagement with the Air Force, Navy and Marine Corp information technology programs. In July 2012, he became an independent consultant.


General Dinkins and Debby have been married 48 years and have one son, three grandchildren and three great-grand children. They are engaged in several community efforts to include regular attendance and leadership roles with the Mulder Memorial United Methodist Church, past Chair of the  Emerald Mountain Home Owners Association and is a Board member of the Wetumpka, Alabama YMCA.  In 2016, he assumed his position as Chairman of the Board for Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders of Alabama.
